The University of Wisconsin River Falls is part of the Wisconsin University System and was established in 1874.  Today the UWRF is an intricate part of the community where more than 5,400 full time students are enrolled. 

The UWRF is located at 10 South Third Street, River Falls, WI 54022.  715-425-3301. 

Undergraduates may work toward degrees in 50 major and 50 minor, professional programs in master degrees through the College of Art & Sciences. 

Other opportunities include non-credit classes for all ages ranging from dance to computer skills.

The Chippewa Valley Technical College, River Falls is located at 112 E Walnut Street, River Falls  WI  54022. 

The River Falls Center offers Continuing Education classes, both during the day and evening hours, to help adults keep up with changing technology.  Courses related to business, computers, insurance, food service, health and childcare occupations, as well as traffic safety school, are available for a small fee.

The River Falls Center now includes a multi-purpose business lab, which offers open entry/exit individualized instruction.  Credits earned in the business lab apply toward a number of degree or diploma programs at Chippewa Valley Technical College, including Accounting, Accounting Assistant, Office Assistant, Computer Information Systems and Financial Services Assistant. 

Credit courses continue to be offered in River Falls via interactive television each semester.  Many of these can be transferred for credit to colleges. 

Students attend classes at the River Falls campus classroom, which is equipped with microphones, cameras and monitors to allow them to directly participate in classes that originate at another site.  Through this program students can enter, begin or complete a variety of vocational or technical programs.
